Worker Layout

    1. The list of hosts and their statuses
    2. Information related to the selected host.  Current tabs are "Host Properties" and "Host Configuration" - both described below.
    3. A list of work being done by the selected host - either frames or instances, depending on the selected tab.

    Worker Details Tabs

    1. Host Properties: Displays general information about this host. This tab will always have data, regardless of whether or not the host is active.

    2. Host Configuration: Displays the running configuration of the worker.  This tab will only be populated if the worker is running and responding to the supervisor.

    Locking / Unlocking Workers

You can highlight a Worker and then use the right mouse button to lock and unlock that worker. Locking a Worker may be necessary if desktop machines are also added to the farm, and you want to exclude your machine from being used as a Worker while you are doing interactive work. See also this page for additional details. In addition, there is QubeLocker, a small application which allows a more nuanced approach to accepting jobs onto your machine.

    1. Lock Host (+ Purge) will kick off any running jobs and lock the Worker
    2. Lock Host (+ Finish Current) will allow any running jobs to finish, and then lock the Worker
    3. Unlock Host will allow jobs to be picked up by this Worker
